Both pus and tonsil stones can be found in the tonsils, but they are different. Pus is a thick, yellowish or greenish fluid that forms at the site of an infection, while tonsil stones are small, hard, whitish or yellowish formations made of food particles, bacteria, and dead cells that get trapped in the tonsil crevices. Pus is a sign of infection, while tonsil stones are not necessarily a sign of infection but can cause bad breath and discomfort. If you are experiencing symptoms, it's best to consult a healthcare professional for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment. **
