To paint a white Billy bookcase, you will first need to prepare the surface by sanding it lightly to create a rough texture for the paint to adhere to. Then, you can apply a primer to the bookcase to ensure that the paint will stick and provide an even finish. Once the primer is dry, you can paint the bookcase with your desired color using a paintbrush or a paint sprayer. It's important to apply thin, even coats and allow each coat to dry completely before applying the next one. Finally, you can finish the bookcase with a clear sealant to protect the paint and give it a smooth, durable finish. **
