Contemporary literature, on the other hand, simply refers to literature that is being written and published in the present day. While some contemporary literature may exhibit postmodern characteristics, not all contemporary literature is postmodern, and vice versa. **

While postmodern architecture often incorporates historical elements in a more whimsical and decorative manner, deconstructivism seeks to challenge traditional notions of form and structure through its fragmented and distorted designs. **
