To make oatmeal porridge, start by bringing 2 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan. Once the water is boiling, add 1 cup of rolled oats and reduce the heat to a simmer. Stir the oats occasionally and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the porridge reaches your desired consistency. You can also add a pinch of salt and any desired sweeteners or toppings, such as honey, fruits, nuts, or cinnamon, to enhance the flavor. Once the porridge is ready, remove it from the heat and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. **
