Napoleon is often seen as a complex figure in history, with opinions varying on whether he was a warmonger or a liberator. While he did engage in numerous military campaigns and wars during his rule, expanding the French Empire through conquest, he also implemented significant reforms in the territories he controlled, such as the Napoleonic Code and administrative improvements. Some view him as a liberator for spreading revolutionary ideals and modernizing institutions, while others criticize him for the human cost of his wars and the authoritarian nature of his rule. Ultimately, the perception of Napoleon as a warmonger or liberator depends on one's perspective and interpretation of his actions. **

Napoleon Bonaparte can be seen as both a greedy conqueror and a liberator, depending on the perspective. On one hand, he was driven by a desire for power and expansion, leading him to conquer and annex territories across Europe. However, he also implemented significant reforms in the areas he conquered, such as the Napoleonic Code, which promoted equality before the law and religious tolerance. Additionally, he abolished feudalism and serfdom in many of the territories he controlled, which could be seen as liberating the people from oppressive systems. Ultimately, Napoleon's legacy is complex and can be interpreted in different ways. **
