Longboard wheels are fast and quiet due to their larger size and softer durometer. The larger size allows them to maintain momentum and roll over cracks and bumps more easily, leading to a smoother and faster ride. The softer durometer absorbs vibrations and reduces road noise, resulting in a quieter ride. Additionally, the shape and material of the wheels are designed to minimize friction and maximize speed, contributing to their fast and quiet performance. **
