To sand down an ugly plastic patio table, you can start by cleaning the table with a mild detergent and water to remove any dirt or grime. Then, use a fine-grit sandpaper to gently sand the surface of the table, focusing on the areas with the most imperfections. After sanding, wipe down the table with a damp cloth to remove any dust. Finally, you can apply a plastic primer and then paint the table with a spray paint designed for plastic to give it a fresh new look. **
