The effectiveness of corporal punishment is a topic of debate among experts. While some argue that it can be an effective way to discipline children and teach them right from wrong, others believe that it can have negative long-term effects on a child's behavior and mental health. Research has shown that corporal punishment can lead to increased aggression, lower self-esteem, and a higher likelihood of developing mental health issues. Ultimately, many experts advocate for positive discipline techniques that focus on teaching and guiding children rather than using physical punishment. **

Corporal punishment is not allowed because it is considered to be a form of physical abuse and can have long-lasting negative effects on a person's physical and mental well-being. It is also seen as a violation of human rights and dignity. Instead, alternative forms of discipline and behavior management are encouraged, such as positive reinforcement, setting clear boundaries, and teaching problem-solving skills. These methods are considered to be more effective in promoting positive behavior and healthy development. **

Levi Ackermann is only a corporal in the military because he chooses to remain at that rank. Despite his exceptional combat skills and leadership abilities, Levi prefers to operate as a lone wolf and does not seek higher ranks or positions of authority. He values his independence and freedom to act as he sees fit, and being a corporal allows him to do so without the burden of additional responsibilities and obligations that come with higher ranks. Additionally, his focus is primarily on combat and protecting humanity from Titans, rather than climbing the ranks within the military hierarchy. **
