Poems and short stories are both forms of literature, but they differ in their structure and style. Poems are typically shorter and more focused on the use of language, imagery, and rhythm to convey emotions and ideas. Short stories, on the other hand, are longer and more narrative-driven, with a focus on character development and plot. However, both poems and short stories share the common goal of conveying a message or exploring a theme. They both use literary devices such as metaphor, simile, and symbolism to create meaning and evoke emotions in the reader. Additionally, both forms of literature can be used to explore complex human experiences and provoke thought and reflection. **
