Breading fish and breading a schnitzel do not work the same way. When breading fish, it is important to pat the fish dry before breading to ensure the breading sticks properly. Additionally, fish cooks much faster than a schnitzel, so it is important to use a lighter breading and to be careful not to overcook the fish. On the other hand, when breading a schnitzel, it is typically pounded thin and then breaded with a thicker coating to create a crispy crust when fried. Therefore, the breading process and cooking times for fish and schnitzel are different. **

For breading, it is best to use all-purpose flour or a combination of all-purpose flour and cornstarch. All-purpose flour provides a good coating that crisps up nicely when fried, while the addition of cornstarch helps create a lighter and crispier texture. These flours are versatile and work well for breading a variety of foods such as chicken, fish, or vegetables. **
