A backyard becomes a garden when it is intentionally designed and cultivated to grow plants, flowers, or vegetables. This may involve adding raised beds, planting trees, or installing a variety of landscaping features. On the other hand, a garden becomes a backyard when it is integrated into the outdoor living space of a home, serving as an extension of the indoor living area. This may include adding seating areas, outdoor kitchens, or recreational spaces within the garden area. Ultimately, the distinction between a backyard and a garden depends on the purpose and design of the outdoor space. **
